Fair enough: most of the 'featured webcams' are great picks and many will agree that they deserve highlighting. On the other hand, many will agree that some of these picks aren't all that special, or they don't need any extra attention, while other quite remarkable (and often popular) listings are left out.
Many webcam operators make quite an effort to offer us a great image. They invest heavily in hardware, a fast internet connection and they keep it all working 24 on 24. Of course: not every one lives around places like the Eiffel Tower, of which there are several views on Webcams.travel, but quite some other views are much more intriguing and/or lively, popular even, but not selected by the Webcams.travel team.
You might consider looking at some entries again, or maybe form a 'board' of 'critics' from your expert viewers, to look at every entry and rate them according to a set of given parameters, to determine if they are worth becoming a 'featured webcam'.
