Get Notified!

If you are a webcam owner and added your webcam (or webcams) to Webcams.travel, you can make use of special e-mail notification services we provide for your webcams:

First, you can get notified if one of your webcams gets inactive. This means if a webcam does not deliver up-to-date images for more than some hours we set the status of this webcam to inactive. Inactive webcams will not appear on the map, Google Maps and Google Earth. The notification e-mail will be sent once a day with a summary of all status changes (active to inactive and inactive to active) of your webcams. This service helps you to monitor your webcams and to keep them up-to-date.

Second, you can get notified if someone of the community posts a comment to one of your webcams. This notification e-mail will be sent once a day with a summary of all new comments to your webcams.

If there are no status changes or new comments you will not receive any notifications.

To enable or disable these services, just edit the "E-mail notifications" options in the settings of your Webcams.travel account. Check your settings now
